After bleeding chips to the rest of the table by calling and then folding to three-bets Han Wook Kim has seen his stack shrink to 165,000. It finally looks like he’s had enough so when Ryan Hong opens for a min-raise to 40,000 from the cutoff and Kim looks down to see 7♦ 7♥ the Korean quickly moves all in.
Hong doesn’t look as though he likes it but after crunching the numbers he feels priced in to make the call and does so with Q♠ 10♣. Kim immediately spikes his set on the 7♠ K♠ 8♦ flop and improves to quads when the 7♣ hits the turn to guarantee his survival. Hong drops down to just over 300,000 after the hand while Kim rises to over 350,000.
