Oliver Speidel is back with a vengeance after taking a big pot off Divan Le Roux. The Australian was in the big blind and called Le Roux’s 50,000 UTG raise.
They went to a flop of 7♣ 4♣ 5♥ and both players checked before the dealer tabled the 8♠ turn. At this point, Speidel leads out for 50,000 and Le Roux looks him to see the river 4♥. Speidel now bombs 200,000 and, again, Le Roux makes the call but mucks when the Australian shows 9♥ 6♦ for the top end straight on the turn.
Speidel moves up to 1.45 million as Le Roux slides to 940,000.
