Nathanial Seet has just left Edward Yam on life support after the latter shoved all-in from the big blind on a 5♣ Q♦ 9♠ flop after calling a Seet button raise pre-flop.
Seet thought his A♠ 2♦ enough to make the call for his tournament life and he was right, it was leading Yam’s K♦ 7♦.
The 5♥ turn changed nothing and kept Nat firmly in the driving seat, where he stayed after hitting the A♥ river just for good measure to earn himself the double-up.
Seet’s now up to the 450,000 while Yam is left with a bowl of rice worth 23,000 – just under two big blinds.
