Changes have just been announced for registration to the 2012 Aussie Millions Poker Championship to be held at Crown Poker Room in Melbourne, Australia from January 13-30, 2012.
With the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) and Chinese New Year falling around the same time as the 2012 Aussie Millions, organisers have decided to extend the late registration for the AUD $10,000 Main Event until the commencement of level 9, which is the second level into Day 2 of the tournament. Although that seems hugely generous, players who register just before the cutoff time will only sit down with 30 big blinds.
In addition, all other championship tournaments, with the exception of the Rebuy, Heads-Up and Chinese Poker event, will also have their late registration extended until the end of the second break. What this means is players now have until four hours into each event to register.
