India Poker Championship August 2012 edition 
After the last India Poker Championship was held in March 2012, the tournament will once again be returning to Casino Royale in Panjim, Goa on August 2-5, 2012. Along with their main event of the INR 25,000 Big Game, the series will feature three side events as well. The full schedule of events is:
August 2, 8:30pm – INR 5,000 Classic
August 3, 8:30pm – INR 10,000 Weekend Kickoff
August 4, 8:30pm – INR 25,000 Big Game (Main Event)
August 5, 6:00pm – INR 25,000 Big Game (Final Table)
August 5, 8:30pm – INR 12,000 Headhunters
All tournaments are freezeouts except for Sunday night’s Headhunters where busted players can have unlimited re-entries at any time until the end of Level 4.
The tournament will also see players vying for India Player of the Year (IPOY) points to score an IPC sponsorship worth INR 100,000. The winner of the IPOY will be declared at the end of IPC’s November edition and here’s a look at the top 10 current standings:
