Thanks Arvy!! But, I got felted in the 11th round at 800-1600 200 ante  :-\ I was in the cutoff and tried to rob the 4K+ in the center with a naked ace from the cut off sitting on 19K only for the guy on the button to wake up with JJ!! I played some of the best poker that I have played this year. Starting stack was 20K got down to 4K in round 9, ran it into 38K than lost 2 coin flips for some really big major pots to get me through the starting day. Which is the end of round 13. I had Mark Pagsuyuin on my table, who witnessed me make some really big lay downs. Lay downs that most likely you have went broke on!! Hahahaha!!......... Next stop is the Metro event!! Good luck to us!!  ;D and yah I got the patiences back and I will take a last longer bet against you  :P

Ok here is one for you.. I got 7,300.. Blinds are at 300-600 50 ante.. I am in the cut off and everyone folds to me.. I look down at pick up 9hTh.. I decide to make it 1,500 to go... sb and bb call.. Flop comes J45 rainbow.. Both check to me I decide to check.. Turn T... sb leads for 2,000, bb calls, I call... river 9... sb leads for 4K, bb tanks and calls all-in... Pot is 10,500 + antes + the 4,000 from both players on river.. I got 3,750 left... What do you do???

why didn't you shove pre and scooped the dead money in the middle? your stack is not anymore playable for post flop. 12bb and M is below 8 (if i assume this is 9 handed). it's skillfully shove and skillfully fold with the stack you have at that level of the tournament.. will i wait to hit a straight flush with that hand? snap call. good game if you're beat! :P

I actually moaned and kinda cried on the river card knowing that the 2nd guy rivered me.. So I laid it down. 1st guy had 99 and the other KQ..So sick huh??!! Why put your chips in if you know you are beat regardless of your stack or pot... Having 10 BBs in any level in the tournament is still playable (is the way I was taught when I first started).. I took my remaining 3,750 ran it back into over 38K only to go broke 3 levels later!! :( Maybe you are right.. I should have just stuck my chips in pre-flop like you do all the time instead of prolonging the agony hahahahahaha!!

And my bad run continues!! In a tournament that I wanted to win so bad in I never got over the starting stack from the 1st hand that I played. My busting hand was KQ against Q6 on a Q high flop!! Turn 6 ouch!!  >:( on to the 8M at RWM to end my year!!

totally agree!

chips saved is good as chips won...

14,500 pot is not a license to do a suicide even if you have a measly 3,750 left when every thing around you speaks that you are definitely beat.
